dont listen to him, there are several angiosperms that do not produce distinct flowers, such as seagrass and several tree species which are all classes as angiosperms but might not have loveley flowers in the traditional vein that you might expect
FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy FlowersBy definition, a flowering plant produces flowers. There are some plants with highly reduced flowers like grasses, but they still produce flowers. I guess you could have a flowering plant that is mutated in some sense and cannot make flowers, like the PIN1 arabidopsis mutants, but it%26#039;s not really that common- I don%26#039;t even know if it happens in nature very often.
Reply:That is a bizzare question.
Reply:LOOK AT YOUR QUESTION NERD!! A flowering plant without flowers??? Get a life.
Reply:Cactus
Reply:Stimatus oreas Nitila of South America is a plant that is considered a flowering plant due to its oreas origin, however there have been sitings of actual flowering Stimatus though none have been confirmed.
Reply:Under some circumstances, specific flowering plants do not produce flowers. Sometimes, they are just duds. Flower gardeners get rid of such plants. we sometimes wait for years to give the plant a chance. This often happens with wisteria. You do have to wait for some plants to reach maturity. If the growing season is very dry, many plants may not bloom.
I have a rose, that appeared by itself in the parking lot garden - growing in a few inches of soil. It has never bloomed. This may be because I cut it back every year to get rid of the rose. It kept growing back. I left the canes alone last year and am waiting anxiously to see if it will bloom. I have never had a rose appear in the garden, that I did not plant. If it doesn%26#039;t bloom this year, I am going to kill it once and for all, just to get rid of it for being useless.
If something is a flowering plant, by definition, it should bloom, except for circumstances.Reebok
