Reply:THE COLOR RED GETS THERE EYE , AND ANY TRUMPET SHAPED RED / RED-ORANGE FLOWERS TO FEED THEM . I HAVE 3 OR 4 CIGAR BUSHES THAT BOTH BUTTERFLY%26#039;S %26amp; HUMMERS LOVE . IF YOU USE FEEDERS ------PLACE THEM FAR ENOUGH APART WHERE 1 CAN%26#039;T GUARD MORE THAN THE ONE IT IS FEEDING FROM ( THEY ARE VERY TERATORIAL AND WILL FIGHT OVER FEEDERS ) ONE DAY I HAD A RED T-SHIRT ON AND A HUMMER HOVERED ABOUT 15%26quot; - 18%26quot; FROM ME AS I STOOD FROZE TO WATCH IT , THEY ARE SO NEAT
Reply:Monarda, asclepias (will attract butterflies, too), wisteria, hibiscus, clematis, trumpetflower. Those are the flowers that attract them the most in my yard and I am in the same geographic zone as you. You won%26#039;t believe how many you will get with a hardy red hibiscus!affiliate
